Let me edit what I've said - there appears to be fewer issues on Firefox - it appears to hate Chrome, but FF, with more interactivity, doesn't have clear instructions either.
Kudos for the effort! ... It seems like your FF was just painting the frames without clearing the previous one. Lack of black magic, literally. ;) ... I've tried my best with it and (hopefully) fixed it (coming in v0.21.60) as well as the bottom buttons in FF. ... The framerate in FF (50.0.2) is devastating anyway it seems like those guys are more focusing on the WebGL2 support (arriving in FF51).
Currently trying to understand how this game is supposed to work, as others have posted. I know you've found the 'expanding circle' bug, but how about the 'objects not clearing', or text being layered upon itself? I'm guessing that's what's causing my computer to immediately drop it down to 15 FPS while stuck on the'loading screen'.
In order to "start a game and get to the map" (=successful loading) you are:
. . . . .
[1.] loading the platform (black/blank screen)
[2.] loading + decompressing(!) + processing the data. (progess bar screen)
[3.] select a starting location zone/postcode (3 cubes screen)
[4.] start "playing/spectating" (map + addressbook screen)
. . . . .
On my Win10 EDGE stucks on [3] (shows just the cubes) , Opera, Chrome, Firefox, runs [4.] and they perform in "order of appereance". ;)
. . . .
Thanks for your feedback and please give me more details about the two bugs you mentioned in order to let me fix them.
Is it just me, or does resetting much earlier turn out to be much more effective? Sure, earlier on it won't make much of a difference, but by level 15 it's more effective to reset earlier and collect points in smaller amounts. No matter how you cut it, it's easier to get to E(15+9) twice than E(33) once.
It also seems that certain items have a much faster inherent demand regeneration - could the developer show the rate of recharge? The player shouldn't have to manually calculate which ones recharge fastest.
Slow gameplay? It's okay because it's an idle game. Single spawn? Annoying, but see previous. Tower variety? Good idea, but not necessary. My suggestions for improvement: 1) As Tenzhi said, something to speed up gameplay (especially because there's no way to increase speed by active playing), either adding more enemy spawns or game speed upgrades. 2) Increase the cash drop of enemies - if something has twice the HP, it shouldn't be worth only 20% more. 3) The looping track, while nice, just slows down the game - especially if you can't sell any towers and have to wait for the enemy to loop around if you didn't kill it in time.
Ah, business... This game operates on the same principle large retailers focus on: sell quantity instead of quality. Even if you can sell each item for more, you'd still get a larger profit over the same timeframe if you sell a larger amount of cheaper items. In here, it's further amplified by the fact that you're limited by PP regeneration and every increase in demand provides the same increase for every product.
While enjoyable, this idle game runs into a massive pitfall in the late-game mechanics. My current ideal strategy consists of resetting, buying all upgrades and spawns, then resetting after five minutes when my power generation slows down to a crawl. Unfortunately, I can't think of a solution to give to the developer...
For people claiming graffiti as art: can it be removed without damaging the house? If not, then it shouldn't be considered art, even if it looks good. OTOH, how do we know that the upside-down pictures are not art, the books could be masterpieces, etc. etc.
To everyone complaining about the elevator situation, here's a solution. Build a system shaped like a dollar sign (and yes, it'll cost a lot, but there'll be no complaints!) 1) have a middle shaft for service only. 2) build a 3-floor elevator on one side, then put a room on top of it. 3) on the other side, put another 3-floor elevator + room, with the middle elevator at the same height as the room on the other side. No more complaints!
hag·gle [hag-uhl]

2. (Swords & Potions exclusively)
