Its weird to have to grind to get the levels AFTER you've fully upgraded everything. And there's no option to un-upgrade, so I'm effectively TOO skilled and kill everything too fast to get a Golden Scarab. Frustrating imbalance.
No idea what I think of the game play. In fact, didn't make it past character creation: all the female characters are 12 year-old Japanese porn stars. Yes, yes, I know "artistic discretion" and all that.
Very impressed! Satisfying play right up to the end. While I like the ability to choose your entry floor once you've beaten the game, I'd prefer an unlimited mode so I can see how far my enormous pile of gold would get me. 5/5 - well done!
Just hard enough to keep me interested, just easy enough to not frustrated. Well-balanced and amusing - I'd play for longer but I gotta go get me some pork-based food products...
Ugh. In real terms, buying a week without interruptions costs about $10. So an in-game month without interruptions costs about the same as a game that won't annoy the crap out of me, doesn't demand I join a guild and then doesn't provide the support to let me do that and won't KEEP telling me that I need to keep on paying the developers, no to mention has more depth, scope blah blah blah. Greed, pure and simple, has turned this okay trading game into a balls-up annoy fest. Kongregate, STOP WHORING GAMES LIKE THIS AT US. Fine, put it on your site. But 4 badges? When there are a gazillion bedroom games designers coming up with nifty games that don't cost money and annoy me for hours? Go back to your original mission statement - help out the small-time developer, let the giant, greedy (literally) studios do their own footwork; they're not the ones who need your help. Very annoyed by this game.
I bought the premium content when the game was first released on Armor Games. Any way to transfer that? I love Gemcraft, but I won't pay to play the full edition on every site it appears on.
Please put an item filter in the storehouse! When you're doing the Mystery Dungeon and sending stuff home to later equip your defense troops with, it gets tedious to have to sift through pages of stuff to find each type of equipment.
Similarly, if there could be a way of filtering the objects found in chests, perhaps by value or, for weapons, by their hit dice, that would make things much easier (and less tedious) too.
