The game is great fun, but grinding war points gets ridiculous. It took me 15 minutes to get 10k for the final upgrade, and it'll require another 10k to max out my ships to make the Dutchman beatable.
Sure aren't! Didn't even know it existed until recently. But whatever, if my game DID help inspire that movie, then that's awesome in and of itself - creativity begetting creativity ;)
This game was truly fantastic. I hope the song is released in some capacity very soon. It's quite addicting. For now, I'm just going to leave it on the title screen.
One step ahead of you dude, you can straight-up download the song if you want!

For free or by donation, just enjoy the music :) I'm glad you liked the game so much!
Quick tip for anyone having trouble: Max out the slot booster as soon as possible. I'm getting 50 gifts constantly from it. Four times in a row, at one point.
Another small bug: My hat upgrades don't work. I've put three points into it and yet the hat does not change, and my points are still at 0 when I level. Not a huge deal in my case, because I've got about 80 million potions, but if it happens to others it may be a hindrance.
Absolutely love the game. I ran into a glitch where one of those large cactus monsters relentlessly juggled me, with no chance of a recovery, so hard that he juggled me and himself into a wall forcing me to restart the level. Other than that, 5/5. It was really fun.
It's rather easy once you get into a groove. Some luck comes into play as well. I got all the badges on the second run, but I was lucky and got a superman to run out just as a dragon was flying under.
This has to be the greatest optimized game I've ever seen ever. I'm playing this with an MMO in the background. This terrible computer can barely run the MMO alone, but this game still runs with zero lag on medium.
If you want to just relax and play the game, without constant bitching about elevators, just build everything up to just one room below the requirement for the next star and go watch TV for about an hour. I watched some Breaking Bad and ended up with over $600k and built about 973 elevators.
A game like this really requires some form of offline save. I've played on another site, got about halfway and lost my save due to my inconsiderate sister deleting my cookies and cache. So, I lost about two to three hours because of it. I didn't come back to it, because I knew it would happen again. I know this is my problem, but I'm sure there are others who've experienced the same, whether with this game or another.
Why does the epilogue scroll? It easily could've been just a page for us to read. Instead, it scrolls by too bloody fast and I don't know what happened afterward. Also, lol the last boss is way too easy. I mean, he killed HIMSELF. He cast destruction and got buttfsecksed by double reflect.
Here's my strategy for getting gold on Survival: Start off with a tower of Worm Blocks facing left 4 spaces in, with an eye block on the third spot, then build up the other side with the same blocks facing right. Once that is done make a tower of Sticky Blocks on the second section in front of the portals, then do the same on the second section from the toys. If this was done properly you should still have one column on each side, make the one on the left all Worms and the one on the far right the same as the first two. I used that exact pattern with zero problems for survival. It slows em down and buttseckses em into oblivion. Just be sure to constantly replace destroyed or cheesified blocks.
