Well Jabor, I find that this game being here is against what Kongregate stands for. This is like a walmart taking the place of a family owned store, if you can excuse the far-stretched metaphor. Kongregate is about the flash developers, and not the larger scale MMORPG developers. This is like a shameless plug of a popular product, and it really isn't needed here.

Now, you seem to have an odd view on things. People make flash games for many reasons- fun being a key aspect. Not to mention DJStatika has no website on his profile, and yet has developed more games than this Jagex profile.
Dabor, because you don't like it isn't a reason to have a game removed. In that case, leave it alone. Clearly, your reasoning is weaker than necessary to make a point.
The few people left who have the reasoning Jabor asks for have left this pathetic flame war, or are trying dearly to infuse some hope into this situation. Sadly, it seems impossible.
If you really have to call whoever posted this game "overweight ugly people," you should probably just go away. Most of the people who post only hate Runescape, and that's unreasonable. Not every game is going to make you happy, so suck it up. The real legitimate problems have already been mentioned, and they were drowned out by idiots yelling spam. Way to go.

It shows what page affiliates use when advertising. However, that is still my point of contention. This game doesn't need the advertisement, and it isn't in the "spirit of the site," as mentioned earlier.
Jollius, it's a good point you have there. Yet, clearly, most people here see it as a form of selling out. If Kongregate really needed the cash that badly, they should put up 'donate' options. Just because they can is not a reason to do it.
Entroki, you hit the problem right on the head. It looks like I'm not the only one who feels that way.
Jabor, you asked if there was a problem with Startfighter. I haven't played it, but judging by the fact I've never heard of it, it's far less of a problem. Yes, the fact it's hosted by it's own site is annoying, but Runescape doesn't need the attention. We all know it exists, so why should it be on Kongregate? And odd move by Jagex, don't you think?

Your opinion on the game doesn't matter. The problem is that this is pure advertisement, and the idea is to let Kongregate know we don't like it. Save your "AHhhh!!!111 this game sucks" for your in game chat.
Unfortunately this game leading back to Runescape.com doesn't change the nature of this upload. It's like going to play something made by Armor Games, only to find out you actually have to go to Armor Games. I'm again having a problem understanding what point this has other than to advertise Runescape.
Well, it's understandable that it takes you to the main site, so I'll take back the comment about the pass scam. However, this is *still* just acting as an advertisement. Which is not the point of Kongregate.
If you can sift through the flaming, it's key to notice the comments that suggest password stealing. I can't test it, but I wouldn't doubt that this is a false copy. Flag if you're sure, but play at your own risk.
No matter what you think of this game, it's place is not on Kongregate. This is, in every honesty, and advertisement. I don't think this can be rated low enough to express my disappointment. Bad move, "Runescape Jagex."
