The command NORTH EAST (with a space) seems to work fine in Achaea, but it's possible it's disabled during the intro tutorial. Unless warlord was talking about another game, in which case I wouldn't know...

No, there's an exit NE, then N, then E, if you're talking about the Trial of Rebirth in Achaea. It really is to the northeast, but it's more than one step away, which seems to bother people. :(
Anyways, I love this game and will probably play for as long as it's alive. ^_^
It's multiplayer, Okboy, because you're in a world with many other people all over the place. The tutorial is single-player, but that's just to get you started.
An addictive, fun game. Uncannily like fl0w... and that's a compliment!
(Speaking of which, fl0w is worth checking out. It's also a Flash game, incidentally)
Also: I have to admire how the snakes work, heh. But it would make me happer to have a period of immunity when you respawn (so you don't get killed when you spawn right on top of whatever else there is in the level). And when you lose the game, please return us to the main menu instead of restarting. ESC doesn't seem to do that, and the instructions are on the main menu, so I can't check if there's another key for that......
