And obviously, you also need to take a look at the Synergy (bottom right) to assess what is the best way to gain as many bonuses as possible during that specific round.
It's sad that people have not grasped how to play this game and blame it on the game itself. It is not so much a game of luck as of strategy and management. You need to stock up on the bonuses at the very beginning by putting as many items of the same colour or symbol in order to have enough bonuses to pass the last levels. It is quite easy to reach the end if you plan well.
In fact, I'm surprised at the amount of bad criticism over that game when, in my opinion, this is THE best game on Kongregate and I have been searching for it on the Playstore in hope that I can play it on my mobile.
Love this game. The lack of save function is part of the game and of the challenge. Despite what a lot of people seem to believe, this game is not based on luck. It is based on risk assessment. With a good management of the bonuses/tiles, one can reach level 30 about 75% of the time.
It is obvious that some people are cheating which makes the game awfully annoying when you play fairly. If people where indeed able to come out with the exact dates, lengths and numbers on each question, they would be out there, on tv shows, making money. And not playing here on kongregate.
The main game is strangely addicting. The idea of seeing the "hero" and allies evolve gives an aim.
However, the mini-games are useless and boring. Playing them and making the allies evolve doesn't seem to make a difference in the main game. They do not seem to be using their abilities faster.
It would have been nice to enable the payer to buy upgrades with the drops he picks up.
The reflexio ability interrupts the flow of the game when you pick it up. At certain moment it can get quite annoying.
Thanks a lot for your feedback! We agree that the minigames could be better, and we’re currently exploring several ways to improve them. The allies do have improved abilities after evolution, but we will definitely update these if they aren’t ‘visible’ enough right now. We’ll try our best to re-code Reflexio so it doesn’t interrupt the game anymore. Thank you for playing Yummy Drops! We hope to see you again in our next game!
A great point and click. You can really feel the horror.
However, putting the credits at the begining of the game is not a good idea since it makes it look as though it was over.
Great game with original mechanics. However, when I manage to get 3 stars at my first shot for all levels, it's a sign that the difficult is way too easy.
1. There is no real point in earning money since you can't spend it.
2. I find it awfully annoying that I have to make sure that my idiotic char does not step on a trap while trying to reach a tile. He should just step on the tiles that he has already uncovered.
3. If you are going to change the game's mechanic by adding floors, maybe you should make it clear. Because as far as I'm concerned it is not. :/
I don't understand this game. You set an objective with the crown. But in any case, your castle gets blown up in one turn. What's the point of the crown if the ennemy is so strong you cannot reach the number of maximum turns indicated anyways?
The shots your enemy takes at you should not be random. They should actually replace or at least complement the crown objective.
You should set for each level a maximum number of shots the player can take. The ennemy would then shoot and miss / hit according to a pattern you've set. And that would just be a smart and funny way of limiting the number of shots you get. If you're too slow you lose the game. And those that are fast enough to destroy the castle in less than x turns get the crown.
As many have said, there are lots of great (and better) games here on Kongregate that are completly free. The demo is nice. But demos are like adverts or trailers. Very soon, Kongregate is going to become the equivalent of the xbox market : all games are free but not for more than 5 minutes.
