The game is nice, but strangely CPU heavy. Maybe streamlining the code would help out this issue. As an Idle game it should not hammer the rig that hard.

Synergies are interesting. But negative Synergies should also be there.
- Wells could be only buy-able on green tiles. On desert it should be "deep Wells" which cost triple, because of the scarcity of water.
- Fields get bonus for grass tiles next to another but get minus from desert tiles (hungry wildlife)
- Lumber gets a bonus of a water tile adjacent like a valley. For a waterwheel effect to cut logs and transporting them.
