This is a promising demo with a neat visual look! I agree that the art style makes some of the dot-based puzzles unintentionally confusing. I think you got it really good with the **SPOILER; Pig-head puzzle, all three things have different-looking "dots" **END-SPOILER. Overall, I look forward to a full version :) (Oh, I also agree that some warnings for the dark content could be nice for some!)
Hey, thanks for the feedback, glad you liked the art and game-play! :) I like the pig head too for the warning message I have to discuss it but first we focus on finishing the game.:)
Anyhow, I love this series, and this is another eerie and gripping installment. I think this one has my overall favorite puzzles, and I'm amazed at how much longer it is than I expected. The work that goes into these games keeps shining through brighter with each installment, and I look forward to wherever the mystery takes the story next.
@ahm88 and others who messed up the stalactite; the dripping stone all the way to the right is actually an "eraser", so just move your mineral pile under it and it'll dissolve it one layer at a time. Takes a bit, but it does work.
Brief but beautiful, and surprisingly immersive in spite of not ever giving a single character a name beyond their title/what they are. I'll have to check out your other interactive fic games!
Unique twist on a classic puzzle, probably the most zen of any puzzle game I've seen in a while has been. Challenging at times without being maddening- a great balance that many games that even tag themselves as "relaxing" miss the mark on! Good job on this one!
Its hard to believe this game is going to turn ten next year- that's so much time! I remember playing this for the first time in 2010 on Newgrounds, and then a few years later being astounded and very happy to find that there was a sequel. This game always held a sort of a simple, meditative happiness to it, and I've never forgotten about it. Wonderful atmosphere and just enough worldbuilding to be intriguing without bogging us down in tolkien-style details. Looking forward to the book and - hopefully! - the third game :)
