See, what I love about this game is that it takes skill. You can't just upgrade your way to victory (you'll find that out in the last few levels) like in some games. It takes some serious Touhou-esque dedication to even beat this game (let alone the Three-Heart Challenge)
Wow, great game! Gotta say, using tripping as a strategic mechanic for pacing and speed control is brilliant, and the combination of the background animations and Danny B's music sets a great atmosphere (although one of his other works, "Rocket Rider" for the Super Meat Boy soundtrack, works just as well). 5 stars easily
You gotta feel bad for the last turtle to land, the one that just keeps hitting every springboard, bouncing in an almost vertical path. You think its finally over, he looks like he's gonna land and then...
He hits everything again...
Reminds me very much of Meat Boy (and its not just because captain veridian makes a guest appearance) because of the trial and error platforming and the forgiving checkpoint system. After about ten minutes of gameplay I'm seriously considering getting this on steam!
i honestly only played this for the phyrexian medal... game needs some fine tuning because the only way to win is the moon/flamethrower combo... otherwise the game spikes in difficlty at random moments...
If you're going to number the facts, at least do it the right way. I seriously doubt Chuck Norris would appreciate any of his facts being numbered less than #1...
