They should make it so you get points based on the damage you do not who makes the kill. And they need more weapons for the tanks. Like a Gatling turret, and a Rocket turret like in the game BattleTanx: Global Assault. :3
Like the new explosion effects that were added in, but I still feel like some effects are lacking. I think the missile's explosion effects need a little bit more to them, at least more blighter and visible.
Also one thing that kind of bugs me is the scaling of some of the models. When you dock at a station you see your ship on the inside but there is no way it would fit inside. I think the station's models should all be scaled up to maybe x5-x10 so it looks like your ship would fit, no matter which one you have.
Also while we are on the subject of stations why is there no pirate stations? I think it would be awesome if some systems would randomly spawn a pirate station for players to take down on the edges of the systems. Maybe even pirate bases that they build in or on a very big asteroids or planetoids. Also they should have a few randomly spawned turrets on them to defend their bases so it's not too easy for the players to destroy.
@Ugicywapih: Yes I know, but you can't see how long you have or how much energy they have. It would be better if you could see how much energy the drones have. Then you can tell if they have the energy to help you fight another group of enemy ships or if you should recall them and wait for them to recharge before trying to fight them.
@jimmyvalhalla: Yes I think having a few upgrades/modules for drones would be cool. Maybe ones for +max energy, +damage, faster recharge rate, +speed, etc...
Also I think it would be cool if all the ships had little turrets that the weapons would fire from instead of the shots just coming from the center of the models.
I think it sucks that the drones just disappear after a short while now. They seem like they cost a little too much and are too weak to be worth buying. I think what would be a better idea for the drones is if instead of them just running out of energy and disappearing, they fly back into your ship and recharge using your ship's energy. Then after they are fully charged you can launch them again. Like maybe they only have the energy for X number of shots before they need to recharge. Also the drones should auto attack any enemies that start firing at you if you don't have an enemy target selected. If they can be recharged by recalling them into your ship then there needs to be some way to knowing how much energy they have. Like I think the tab where the drone icon is should just have a row of icons for each drone showing a small energy bar. Then you can launch/recover each one by clicking on it. And on the left side of them just have a launch/recover all bottom.
@KolekaX: Yeah, see this is why I suggested they have modules that are just for recharge rate and ones just for storage. I have 2 Eon Solaires but can't use my 2nd one yet until the unused module window gets a scroll bar to scroll down. And for mining I'm using 4 Prototype X2 drills. I have 2 Safelox X6 so I have a lot of cargo space. XD
@Axel1989: Oh really? I have the Eon Solaire which I'm pretty sure if better than the Assault Battery. It seems like fuel burns just a little too fast tho. I think we also need more options for modules. Like the batteries all increase recharge rate and add energy storage. Why not a module that gives x2 the recharge rate but no storage and something that gives no recharge rate but x2 storage. There is a ton of other options I have in mind but the max size of comments on here is limited. Also if you have more than 50 unused modules they go off the bottom of the screen where you can't select them. We need a scroll bar on the side of the unused module window.
Well this seems like an awesome game so far. Still it's not a complete game yet. I see thousands of things it still needs and adjustments that would make it much better. Like I think the modeling and effects could use a little more work, but something odd I have notice is that fuel doesn't seem to have any effect at all. When you run out of fuel your ship seems to just keep flying like nothing happen. I think it might be glitched or just not coded yet. But also I don't think your ship should just become dead in space if you run out of fuel. Like maybe have it run at half speed and start using the ship's energy instead. And when your ship is out of energy it will move at only a speed of 1 or maybe 0.5, or something, I'm sure some testing will need to be done on that.
@ ketelhut: No I do have the Unity player installed, and the game was working for me before, but now it just doesn't load anymore. The window just says LOADING... But it never loads now. :(
