If you leave the page you keep your only your weapons when you come back. You can't upgrade them though because you also lose credit for buying the weapons (meaning you need to rebuy up to your current weapon before being able to upgrade)

An easy way to get the badge is to turn off num lock and spam both the down arrow and 2 on the numpad.
