Fun fact: Each module has a secret square you can collect from one of its stages by lining up things in the background instead. Collect one from each module and you'll unlock a new "hidden" one! To get you started, the one for mod_a can be found on its 5th stage. Have fun :)
It's pretty amazing that the developer actually reads and responds to what appears to be almost every comment here. Why can't all game developers be like that?
Feel free to downvote me as much as you want, but the hard badge just seemed like a grind and nothing else; the game never got particularly hard for me. I only died two times; once when I realized that no health/regen/toughness upgrades just wouldn't cut it past 15-ish and when I boosted through a huge clump of mines just outside my view in the mid-40s. Basically, the game is a cakewalk once you can max out toughness, regen, and health since you rarely take enough damage to put a dent in your HP until around 45. And by then, you'll be able to have nearly everything else maxed out anyway.
I figured out a strategy that *might* help a few people. Count the number of moves needed for an ace, then subtract the number of coins already in their correct places. What you get is the number of moves you have to "work with" on moving things around before placing everything in correct spots. Note that moving a "correct" coin into an "incorrect" spot will actually "count" as 2 moves since you'll need to get it back into a correct spot later on. (I hope this isn't too confusing...)
Interesting... if I move the manipulator under the receiving area 2 spaces to the right and "flip" the programming, the glitch doesn't happen any more.
I'm getting a glitch on XIV. Philosopher's Stone where my compound is apparently colliding with itself. It seems to have a chance of happening at cycle 22 and every 18 cycles after that in this setup: b,1,5;b,12,5;b,12,9;b,1,9;b,4,7;c,3,3;c,3,11;b,10,7;b,7,7;b,6,9;c,11,3;c,11,11;m,1,3,270,1,crrollcllorrwwwwww;m,1,11,90,1,crrollcllorrwwwwww;m,10,5,0,2,wwwcdwwwwww11roluw;m,2,7,90,1,wwwwwcwlrwu2lordww;m,4,9,180,1,wwucdorwwwwwwcroll;m,6,13,270,3,oddwwwwwwwwwwwwcuu;m,4,5,180,2,wwwcdwwwww11loruww;m,6,11,270,1,cudowwwwwwwwwwwwww;m,13,3,270,1,cllorrcrrollwwwwww;m,13,7,90,1,wwwwwwwwwwc1wwrolw;m,10,9,270,1,wlorrucdwwolwwwcww;m,13,11,90,1,crrollcllorrwwwwww;m,6,5,90,1,wwwcll11uuoddrrwww;
Sonny 2 is eventually going to get onto this site anyways. If you beat it on the ArmorGames website, you're going to have to beat it again on Kong for badges. So unless you're willing to finish it twice, you're better off just waiting until it gets here.
Yeah, I think the level system is bugged or something. Your own team is capped at 40, but the enemies and even your reserve animals seem to be capped at 50.
Sparta Badge: Get the Tesla Tower, Quake Box, Flamer Joe, and 10 gunmen. Make sure to put Joe in the center and fully upgrade all three towers. Now you don't even need to shoot at anything to get the badge, just sit back and watch (or minimize it and do something else, your choice).
I find it really interesting to see how other people think through the puzzles. I enjoy the different perspective, thanks for sharing!
