I'm also having problems with save points. It saves which checkpoints I get to, but I can't start at them again. It makes the game kind of tedious. Otherwise, great game. Lots of fun.

The game does remember exactly where you failed the last time, but I purposely chose to not let you restart at a "checkpoint", because having to start over again is actually meant to be part of the challenging nature of this game. However, if it really is something a lot of people don't like, I'll consider adding it to the game.
