Loved it. Getting the Easter egg brought back memories of the old Final Fantasy games. :) As a small hint, players won't find the egg in the early part of the game.
For the number code, hover over the "AOE" on the coin. The code should appear below the coin. Note: I had to adjust the zoom on my browser for this to work. Been a while since I first played this. Figured I'd revisit.
Great improvements to the game! I like the enemy counter. The "player rank" is a nice touch as well. It looks like you've done more work on balancing the difficulty as well.
Wow. Hard game, but good. For those looking for hints, I found that scroll of reduction, ore armor, and chicken scroll helped me. I beat the game playing for Rome. By the end I had a minotaur, lots of swordsmen, about a dozen knights and a few paladins. I didn't bother with the lumberyard. I used the scroll of reduction around year 32 and the chicken scroll year 49.
This and "TDS" were fantastic.Well done.Didn't notice new bugs. Wish there were a middle-ground ending where you knowingly made the effort to choose a destiny not dominated by plans of the main gods. Your character would grow beyond the maniacally-cackling--bunny-killer you were meant to be. Picking up a blend of human defiance, compassion, and ambition, you wouldn't be cool with either extreme of "God's" or "Stan's" dreams of domination.Would it be satisfying to reach for the stars but push for conservation zones? Maybe conspire in another way to keep both Stan and God limited? New content may be a bit much at this stage. You've clearly invested some good time, energy, and thought into this game. I had a blast with it. Looking forward to to the completion of this and your future projects!
