TDP4 Career Plan: Own people with the Glock 17 until level 3. Purchase MP5. Own kids until level 11. Purchase Steyr Aug. Own kids until level 20+; buy WA2000. Play until you can't stand the artifags anymore, then wipe the account and start over. Don't even ATTEMPT to get past level 30 if you're not going to buy artifacts, because it's just a real waste of time.
@legendarywizard Basically, your basic interpretation of piemaster102's basic comment did not include the basic elements that implied piemaster102 basically wants the TDP4 developers to take basic notes on the Raze developers' basic interpretation of campaign. Was that basic enough for you?
@ironblade41 Yes there is a point; you can wisely place your skill points toward a weapon if you believe you can buy it sometime in the future. Also, you can go on the TDP4 Megathread in the forums to see all the weapons prices.
@robodex1 You should actually have been getting 36 xp because you get one xp from killing someone your level. I think I've made your point quite a few times before; indeed it is perplexing why there is a 10 xp limit for single kills. However, a couple times I received 100 xp for one kill. Want to know how? Just get a god-like while killing someone 9 levels above you!!!
For all of you (nearly 10,000, it would seem) who want multi-player missions/campaign, let me tell you that this is not the game for that; overhauling the engine to allow for campaign would mean creating complex CPUs that would have to react on a real-time level, and having other people play would make system lag a major issue. So, if you want campaign, then go ahead and try out Raze or better yet Raze 2. They are similar platform games with adjustable CPUs and varied game play, including different enemies--aliens, robots, zombies--and many, many weapons. In the meantime, enjoy your multi-player experience on TDP4.
@QuickLoad It's their job to develop things, not ours. That's why they're called "developers". All they need is an idea (like everybody wanted a flamethrower; firestarter) and then they will build off of it.
Thank you very much.
