The game is awesome. The implementation of inventory (junk items, instant comparison) is amazing. The only disadvantage is the list of buffs during combat. Both positive and negative effects are all displayed in green. If negative effects were in red, it would be much more readable.
Thank you!
Hey, the "harmless sheeps" aren't attacked by ground units (barracks, etc.) while they (sheeps) retain the original monster's HP and life count. That way this "ability" is more like "disability".
When it says smth. like "start the word with letter 'e' to get a bonus", and I press shuffle, then there is a very high chance that there will no be letter 'e' in the new set so I won't be able to complete the quest. IMO, either the bonus quest must change upon shuffle, or the shuffled set must satisfy the quest.
The graphics is amazing, the music is very good too. But the gameplay is far below average. No alternative scenarios, almost nothing to discover. It's more like a semi-interactive movie/cartoon than a game.
The mouse pointer is extremely lagging under Ubuntu 10.04/Firefox/Flash 10. Almost unplayable. It's like a 1 second lag between the mouse movement and the actual cursor movement. This doesn't happen in, for instance, Cursed Treasure.
How do you make brilliant out of level 15 ? That stealth champion at wave 40 pisses me off. My meteor cost/damage and mana pool/generation are all maxed out, but I still can't kill that bastard before he touches my gem. How do you kill him?
I don't know how it goes for Windows, but in Ubuntu Linux with Firefox 3.6.8pre and FlashPlayer 10, the "snake" movement is extremely jerky. It freezes, then jumps all of a sudden to the opposite boundary. The game is barely playable till approx. level 10 and then with this kind of control it becomes totaly unplayable.
The game is not playable near the borders of the map. The action/trajectory selector is outside of the window and thus if you get near the border, you lose.
The strategy for all levels is the same. Two sparrows fully upgraded, then 1 eagle. Then build a thick field of "golden" traps around the garden. You don't need ANY birds after that.
