I can't say that I ever played Populous, so I'm not getting the nostalgia that some others experience. This game was definitely fun, but it got a little too repetitive and easy at a certain point. Great game overall!
4/5. For an rpg, this was really well done. The combat system was really well thought out and I didn't find myself skipping over the conversations like I will in other games, but I was really disappointed by the game's short length. I also feel like it's also not really possible to get the highest level upgrades for your characters, as you can't grind (enemies stay dead).
It disappoints me to see that my favorite game on this website is only barely floating around a 4/5. I'll admit that the sound quality is a pretty big part of a music-based game, but the song is so flippin' catchy that I don't really mind.
Overall, I'd say 3.5/5 (rounded up to 4). Arkandian Crusade *really* resembles Artix Entertainment's Adventerquest, so it lost a few points on originality (not to mention it came years after it). That being said, it did a few things better than the former. AC's storyline is much more fluid and it doesn't shove "pay us" down the player's throats. Most importantly, the humor element won this a bunch of bonus points for my rating; I would have quit pretty early on if it wasn't present. Summed up, this is a good game. I enjoyed playing it, but didn't continue much after getting the badges.
2/5. I think that this game has a cool concept and decent mechanics, but overall, it's really boring and doesn't really have anything to make it stand out when compared to other games like it. There really isn't that much diversity in the enemies, where I'll see something new per 1 hour of gameplay (on that subject the levels are a little long).
Hurr, I have horrible internet so I'm going to give all multiplayer games a 1/5 when the problem is on my side. Back to the real world, I'll give it 4/5. Medieval Rampage is a lot like cell warfare, but in this case, a great job was done. What won me over was the theme of the game, and that a show system was applied to give you a little more freedom.
Wow, a simple game that challenges me to actualy pay attention in school. 4/5, I love the origionality, but a few of the locations were a little too hard to find or not specific enough.
Great game, and it picks up on a lot of things that most games of this type don't have. It gives you freedom with your money, and it's funny. What wins this game the 5/5 is it's unique enemies which don't just repeat every wave and make me want to quit.
Great game, I personally think that game is really hilarious. It could use a little more of a storyline, but the game is still unique. I'll give it a 4/5
To tell you the truth this is a great game, but filled with too many people from a younger age group. That's the only thing that really ruins it for me.
Popcorn123-This was made before WoW >_>
Pros---Zombies get stronger over time, very challenging game, easy to play, addition of traps, and the freedom of searching is increased.
Cons=A little too dark, there is no pause function(But short levels make it better) 5/5 kudos
I thought that this game was okay, but the fact that there were 20 or so levels with 5 different enemies was iffy. On the plus side I liked the upgradeable stats. 3/5
