The Malevolence Engine can kiss my butt if my solutions take too long, as long as they work. It's not like you're paying me or anything! Besides, if recent events are any indication, politicians cause everything to slow down...
It would be nice if you could earn even partial experience for re-playing a successful level. Then it would not be so frustrating to feel forced to play a level you keep losing on.
This game is a lot of fun, but there are a few things that could be improved.
1) Need to be able to zoom out and see the entire tower at once;
2) Pop-up dialogs need to take the focus so that tubes and offices underneath don't get clicked when trying to click a button;
3) Achievements could all be active simultaneously (ability to earn achievements in any order--except world domination, I suppose) with an achievement board instead of a status bar that only allows to focus on one at a time.
4) Don't interrupt user actions. If I want to hold down SHIFT to hire multiple workers, I do NOT want to pause to place a freakin' cat! Let there be a rewards button or something that enables when a cat is available. This goes for the Budget Screen popping up at midnight, while I'm trying to place offices.
5) Allow users to select a worker by selecting his desk. Then I don't have to catch him to promote him (or fire or move him, either)

I love this game. The music is a perfect match with the mechanics of the workspace. I just wish there was a sandbox mode, and I wish it could keep running even after I produce the required amount of molecules. I could just sit and watch a well-designed creation run for hours. It reminds me of "How It's Made" on Discovery Channel...
