Hmm... if a button won't work, maybe a key combination? Ctrl + click, or perhaps ctrl+1 to max upgrade helmet, ctrl+2 for sword, etc.? You wouldn't have to clutter the screen, but I don't know the limitations of unity, so that might not work either. Making them automatic might be too far, though? Maybe a gem purchase? I dunno. I'm just giving unsolicited advice at this point lol.

Developer response from YYZ133

I like the idea of Ctrl + Click. It's a simple idea that would work. The only problem I can foresee at this point is that there's a need to have a way to make the button somehow reflect that it's upgrading to the MAX when Ctrl is held. (Just like how pressing x10 changes the text on the buttons to eg Lv 23+10, etc, except the enhance buttons don't have any text to show this change). Perhaps the enhance button changes to a golden colour when Ctrl is held down to show that holding Ctrl has an effect on the enhance button and improving the rollover tooltip to show that pushing the enhance button is going to buy X number of enhancements and how much gold it would spend.

Yo dude, do you think it's possible to get another button to max our equipment upgrades? Or at least to buy the max number of upgrades we can afford, instead of having to hold it down? The noise makes me want to stab myself in the ears with a screwdriver, haha. I understand I can mute the noise, but I also think this would be a nice feature as well.

Developer response from YYZ133

Whoops! Sorry about the noise, forgot how bad it could get when holding the button down. I'm thinking to make the enhancement upgrades automatic in the future. Not sure if I can fit a temporary MAX button for the enhance button into the UI (currently it doesn't look like it has space or a place to put it without getting messy ><)

I wasn't able to recreate it, but there's a bug in the skills shop where the purchase upgrade button and the purchase increment (the one that picks x1 or max) buttons won't appear. I don't know if it was a once off thing, but figured I'd let you know.

Developer response from YYZ133

Got it, thanks for the tip Square.

Jesus Christ, the levels are so unforgiving after 170ish. I was able to farm the boss on 175 with zero problem, but barely beat the 180 and was absolutely annihilated by 185. How's that balance patch coming o.o? lol

Hey man, do you have a blog or something we can use to keep up with the development of this game?

Developer response from YYZ133

Hey! I do post developments on my blog, which I've linked in-game (yyz-productions.com). But I haven't posted anything recently since I've been pretty busy working on the next update and addressing current issues and responding to messages along with real life commitments. I might write something next week, since I've got some stuff that I'm excited to talk about, possibly an introduction of an auto-buy mechanic and other random stuff in development xD Thanks for the interest!

Small glitch. If you click on the upper part of the upgrade boxes or arrows, it will play the click animation, but won't register the action. Just a heads up.

Developer response from YYZ133

Thanks for the heads up

I know this is an idle game, but did you ever mean for clicking to be viable in any way? Rather than being just kinda bad, clicking seems completely useless, especially at the price of any kind of upgrades to it. Maybe the gem upgrades remedy that, but I haven't spent any on it because I've needed them for other things, haha.

Developer response from YYZ133

Hi, if I can be honest, I wanted to slowly phase out clicking the deeper you go in the game. I didn't find clicking fun in most idle games - I just use auto clicker when I play them. Some games find a way around it, like an auto tap mechanic to click for you, but it isn't interesting enough to me since it's just an in-game auto clicker. I want to implement active play by other means, as you can probably see - manual looting for more gold, rolling over skill to speed up CD and am trying to make the game interesting for active play as well because I understand the need to support the active play for those who want to. Have you tried upgrading Fury, Wand Specialization and Boss Killer? They up tap damage. I might add a guardian that specialises in clicking upgrades next time. But my priority now is to fix balance issues as well as address problems listed in the top comments. Thanks for the feedback and hope the answer is satisfactory.

Just out of curiosity, how many developers do you have working on this, or are you the only one?

Developer response from TanLiHao

Yes, YYZ133 is the only developer working on this.

Found a glitch. If you build your walls all the way to the edge, engineers will just walk right through them. Found this glitch on Ultima Ratio Regum. Also, green jackets need a nerf.... It's impossible to lose with them.

Finished in around two hours.... With the walkthrough that is. Impressive cinematic graphics, as well as in game graphics, combined with challenging, yet fun, game play score this one a 5/5.
