This was a really fun game and I enjoyed it, the upgrades were a really nice touch. The only thing is the glitch people seem to be having - where you get stuck in platforms. I didn't experience it until I upgraded my jump power but once I did I found myself getting stuck in platforms OFTEN. I'm glad there's and autosave feature because I had to refresh a lot to get myself out of the platforms which was very annoying. Fix that and I think the game will be perfect.
Wow I really feel choked up after playing this. If this is based off of personal experience, I'm glad you found a way to cope. If it isn't personal, I still think this is really powerful in saying that there's a way to keep living after losing someone you love. At first it seemed all was lost but then there was a glimmer of hope and recovery and the moment that you realize that your life is going to work out despite everything that happened is powerful. Very good job. In a way, it's bittersweet.
