If you want to develop this game further, I think you should first of all make the levels longer, then maybe add a message to inform you instead of only seeing it go black. You could also add a button to go back to a main menu instead of making it an infinite loop until you get a game over. Then, the rest would be about making the game more interactive, different kinds of enemies, power-ups, upgrades, etc. Good luck!
