For anyone just wanting to get the badge of the day, I suggest selecting the octopus. Has the highest starting Reaction speed which affects your acceleration rate. Spam speed training and run any 100m race.
This game doesn't seem to want to co-operate with me, I've replayed this at least three times now and it always glitches and leaves me at a point where I'm unable to continue.
I could care less about the RNG screwing people over for items. All of my failed runs so far were to due to misclicking somewhere on the map and walking to my death. Some type of option to prevent this while being detected by enemies would have been appreciated. (For example double-click being required to move during this period.)
No, My point is while trying to tell people that it's pointless to waste their lives clicking a square, Your commentary is actually the problem because it's the reason people are sticking around. If this had no dialogue, I likely would have quit sooner. But now I'm an addict, And it's all because of the text. I wanted to see the next textbox so desperately, I threw away my life.
That sir, Is why the dialogue is the true problem. :)
Plot Twist: The commentary specifies that upgrades are the problem and your attention is shifted to them, Meanwhile it's actually the commentary that keeps people around.
Feel like they tried to subtly reference the song "Still Alive" in the achievements by deliberately naming the first two after lines in the song. (Albeit one isn't phrased correctly, But it's close enough)
This game does have it's lingering issues, The lack of replaying is clearly one of them. The other seems to be a "fairness" delay when switching weapon, Although personally I've found this can kill use for items like the Timer, and Tornado which are designed to act with other weapons. I ended up Lightning, Slow Time, and the Duct of Death as my main three weapons. (A free tip for anybody who's stuck on a boss, If you activate lightning and then go overtop of the boss, It can inflict the highest DPS output in the game, Beating out the Duck of Death. The duck is just for extra damage)
Any chance there could be something "Special" for Shiny Kongpanions, Like being able to invert and edit the colouring into something different. (Don't get me wrong, Some of the default colouring styles are nice, However that said, A blue rain cloud would be pretty nice)
The idea was nice, But there are a few flawed things that kill the difficulty.
For one, The burning arrows. I would have gotten the idea behind Poison Arrows because they disable an enemies turn, But it only takes a single burning arrow to kill an enemy, So this is rather useless. (I would have balanced the flaming arrows by having them deal the least amount of initial damage)
Saving townsfolk could also use some improvement, If you set the last enemy on first and then open the cage before they die, You're guaranteed three star clearance.
From somebody who's played and beaten Super Meat Boy, This isn't that hard. The only real thing that makes it challenging is how screwed up the movement is.
Do you find listening to people giving advice a waste of time?
