Thanks for your response to my other comment. I was actually using Edge and noticed the save file is completely gone :( I really want to play this game but I dislike having to restart every time. Any clue why save files are disappearing?

I'm confused as to why adblock would keep the save from working?
It seems that the bug is not related to adblock but to firefox instead....
