Of all the RPGs that I've played, this is one of the best even though it is unfinished. If completed, I'd probably sink as much time into this as I have on my first playthrough of Skyrim!
I find that the best way to defeat the enemy ships is by first asking yourself, "Does that ship have a face full of torpedoes?" If the answer to that question is "no," then spam the torp button like mad until it dies. It also helps if you keep moving.
I remember when this game was a bit more fair. There was no cloaked ninja killing your entire team with a katana, there was no grenade-spamming, if the weapon was for your class, you could buy it with the in-game credits, and it took half a mag of ammo to kill anyone. It wasn't too long ago, but I left for a few months to come back to this. It's fun, but not quite like the game I played every day at every moment I could.
For whatever reason, I can't type in any information into the game. For example, I can't build a ship because when I try to enter in the number of ships I want to build, it doesn't register that I clicked in the space. It's getting really annoying.
