I enjoyed it. I wanted a quick and fun game and it delivered on exactly that. Sure you can go into lots of detail and develop a better sequel (pls do btw) but its a good start. One annoying thing is the scroll system. I keep getting "stuck" and cant scroll properly all the way up for the ships or down for the achievements. 4/5 for me
Are the pets that drop epic / legendary or a class of their own? I have my filters set to sell anything below epic so I wouldnt like to loose out on a pet because of it. Thanks for letting me know.
+ for a slightly slower bar / cursor movement. Much to difficult to get a good kick and the curl system needs a revamp or a slow down too. Bend it like Beckham
First of all great idea and good on you to take games like NSS on. You are taking these type of games to a new level. There is a HUGE amount of potential and you are absolutely heading in the right direction.
Now some improvements. Introduce a free training in the beginning. I was completely lost trying some of the training ground stuff even with the instructions. I need to have a few goes before I make it count. Secondly as many have pointed out the enrgy system needs looking at. You dont want to bore ppl. Make it so they are within sniffing distance of something and we will pay to get over the goal line. Finally a bit more info on what all the bars and "stats" mean. Sure we can figure most of it out, but a quick manual wont hurt.
TBH i think this game could have hit the shops if it was a little more complete. Nearly too good to be on Kong :=)
Some tips on how to quickly get through levels (in my experience so far). Get the rhinos asap and try to get two rings of Cultivation (food regen). Then I had the Poison Mace and Meteor mace. I poison everything in the start and stand back to let them come to me and then use my Fist of Fury to finish anything off while my food regens for a couple of rhinos. Once they have arrived I do everything I can to protect them without going bonkers on mana. With good mana and food regen it becomes easy with rhinos (completed 60 levels so far). Good luck
For those of you stuck on level 36 on the last part just practise when you get there. I used the bricks on the wall as a guide. Full strength, quite flat aim for the brick and the jumper will push the ball to your player ontop. It is doable and if you have been good with your timing with the earlier parts you can afford to miss once or twice. Good luck, its not easy
Lovely game and great idea. Couple of things
1. Integrated profession points trading would be a huge improvement.
2. A mousetip when hovering over an improvement for the new people
3. A day where you can be a customer and demand items shopkeepers do not have and then complain about prices, haggle until you leave :)
Why spoil a game with insisting upon getting people to pay with tokens? I am one of many, I hope, that would much prefer clicking the "Donate" in the Tip Jar if I really like the game and want to support the developer.
Some tips for the hard badge.
1. Your main cash should be spent on the Energy Infuser upgrade, then the shields and base upgrade.
2. Every 10 levels there is a boss. You must kill it for 3 extra bonus points. If not the game gets hard very quickly.
3. Spend your bonus points on the Heatseeker, Antimatter shield, Explorer, Inferno and then the 4 x damage reducers.
Hope this helps.
I found the easiest way to defeat the last levels was to send wave after wave of Elite guard in the beginning so most of them become Chiefs. Then when wave 4 (boss) comes, throw all the chiefs and any elite non-ranged units into the battle. You can use the tank to stall if you need, but I just kept a horde of chiefs and elite coming, while I bombarded the boss and his minions.
Easy as pie, ty for the 51 ach points.
Great game, unfortunately brought down by an aweful lot of lag. At times everything just freezes or is v choppy. Shame for those who want to enjoy a good game of blew your opponent to smithereens.
