I was around 50-60%, when it froze. I know it says that it was fixed, but obviously not for me. But at least the fact that the zombies froze gave me time to fix my car and get out of there in one piece. Wooh!
Hm... This game is ok-ish. I end up spending too much time swimming around, just looking for fish. The game is also just generally a little bit slow. It takes too much time to grow, and it moves too slowly. As the graphic whore I am, I'd like if the graphics were a bit smoother. I also wish there were more kinds of fish. And some longer piece of music, so you don't get tired of it too quickly. Having 5 seconds of the same music looping over and over again, really isn't that much fun. I'd probably give it 2/5 if I weren't such a fan of these eat-the-smaller-fish-while-avoiding-big-ones games. If it had been updated, with the stuff I wrote, I would've given it a 5/5. But for now I'll give it 3/5. It's ok to waste 5-10 minutes on, but I wouldn't actually recommend it to anyone.
I've played this game so many times I have completely lost count. I absolutely love it. I really wouldn't mind seeing a Rebuild 2, with bigger maps, more buildings, more professions, etc. Would be awesome.
@Franzt I thought the same thing, but the arrows do have an effect. It's hard, and I guess it kinda depends on how much skill points you have gotten before you reached the part with the dragon, but you just gotta keep trying until you kill him. And remember, if you die after shooting him a few times, you gotta start all over again. Just jump/fly from platform to platform, shoot, jump to another platform, shoot, jump to another platform... The more you harm him, the more he'll shoot fire at you, so it does get a little bit harder by the end but once you get into the rhythm of it, you can do it.
Dude, I was one second away from just exiting the entire game at the one with the big, red dragon. I had tried like 50 times and just didn't get anywhere. I decided to try just one more time, and I did it! ... I don't think I've ever been this happy. Something to show the dragon's health would be great, though. Maybe also a way to leave the dragon if you get tired of trying, so you can just come back later instead.
I don't think it was bad, but I don't think it was great either. I do think it has quite a bit of potential, though. I'd like to have some music playing in the background, and maybe a bit more animation from the "enemy goo", like when they're hit. I'd also like a story, explaining why they're attacking in the first place?
Uhm. Ok: I died, then pressed retry. Now I'm just lying dead on the ground, while the zombies break through the wall, without me being able to shoot...? I can move, though, by gliding across the ground. And guess what: when they finally got through the wall I suddenly came back to life just long enough for them to eat me all over again. WTF?
It might just be my computer that's crappy, but it lags like crazy. Especially if there's a lot of zombies on the screen. It lags with at least 2-3 seconds, which is a really bad thing when there's an entire hoard surrounding me and the others.
I do agree that this game is lacking the soul/story that the text adventures had. It seems kinda like just another action game, while the other games really made you involved in the story and it let YOU decide what happened.
I think this would have been a really cool game, if it wasn't so insanely hard. He can barely jump, and if he tries he usually end up hitting his head/neck against something sharp or the ground. I only gave it 2 stars, but I would have given it 3 or 4 stars if it hadn't been so incredibly hard. I would have given it 5 stars if the game would have been easier AND the gameplay would (somehow) been even better. It's too bad this game is so difficult, because it has so much potential and I'd love to see what's beyond the first 20 seconds.
