Equipping Fan Swing, going to an area like 4-6, and manually moving upward really reveals how poorly the game handles hitting enemies with your skills. The enemies all die in one hit and they're all within the range of Fan Swing, but randomly enemies will survive. Sometimes even enemies close enough to start casting their skills. The timed challenges should be viable with Fan Swing, but they aren't because of this inconsistency. I guess scaling speed to cast Blizzard faster is the only consistent option.
Not sure why my previous comment got downvoted. Try it for yourselves: Set Quicker Spawns to "--" in the Upgrader and it will still be purchased. Even if I set everything to "--" and turn the Upgrader on, Quicker Spawns is still bought. Only with the Upgrader off does Quicker Spawns remain at 0. All other upgrades do not have this problem.
Bug: After Awakening, it was impossible to progress further than wave 500. After 500, larger red enemies sometimes spawned that were either invincible or had incorrect stats. Displayed enemy HP was something like 12k compressed and I grinded to the point I was dealing 16k per hit with 32% chance of 7.75x crits. After reloading the game, the problem disappeared and I was able to progress. Also, other problems were fixed after reloading, like Offensive/Defensive Advancement passives not being properly locked.
Sometimes shortly after the game rebirths, the games spawns a single enemy that is completely ignored by turrets and will just sit on top of your base until it dies. The only way to avoid dying when this happens is to kill it by some form of base counterattack.

IMO, it would be an improvement if the information about the enemy types was moved into the Enemy Stats section on the Gate UI instead of (or in addition to) the Info section under Main Menu.
"I made an idle game. You know what would be awesome? Let me sabotage the ability to idle in the game by sticking exploding enemies in areas that deal 15x the user's max hp." How is it that a person can be both smart and logical enough to create a game like this, but then turn around and implement something so anti-fun and antithetical to their game?
PSA: Weekly rating battles contain bosses that repeatedly use a skill that knocks a random hero out for 12 hours. @Devs: I was actually having fun and, in light of the excellent job you guys did optimizing the clan interface, I was considering getting VIP 3 and 4 with some kreds I've had sitting on this account forever. But no, hero deaths have once again sabotaged my fun and your chances of being supported financially.
Just went into PvP with E+44 damage per click. Opponent's health was E+76. Didn't manage to click 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 times. Might have been a bug - the game has been very consistent in matching me with opponents with E+3 or E+4 HP above my damage until this one, which was E+32 higher and wasn't even remotely possible for me to win.
Just lost a PvP battle (and a hero for 12 hours) because the PvP button on the left side of the screen took me directly into a PvP battle instead of opening the Arena screen like the other dozen times I clicked it. "Let me check the arena to see if my next opponent is ready. If it is, I can buy my PvP skills this run and wait for my skills to cool down." *goes directly to PvP battle* "Welp, I'm screwed."
While you slept for 8 hours, your heroes collected gold: 0 gold. gg
Also, that guy that decided that disabling heroes for 12 hours on a PVP loss? Fire him. He's going to destroy your game. This game has a lot of potential, but I think the worst "hero died, he's disabled for x" mechanic I've seen until now was 1 hour. I don't know how somebody thought 12 hours was acceptable.

Heya. Unfortunately this is the nature of RNG. However, I've implemented a new "cheating" random number generator that should be more reliable for accuracy. With the new system, for example, it should be impossible to miss twice in a row unless your accuracy is below 60%. Thanks for the feedback.
It wasn't until I had already beaten the game that I noticed the "minerals" tab in the upgrade screen. Whoops! Treasure seemed plentiful enough without the upgrades.
This is one of the best word games I've ever played. The only problem is how the game becomes unresponsive upon achieving higher milestones. Around 51,000 it got pretty bad. I got to the milestone 204800 before my browser finally froze entirely. I hope this gets fixed somehow.
Money from the fastbar, deposit/withdraw all button, improved half-hour bonuses when you've accumulated more than one, upgradable market refresh times, # of whales farmed and burgers owned in the farm, and who knows how many other improvements. It's pretty amazing how much the game has improved since I went to bed last night. You're doing a great job and I look forward to seeing how the game evolves. :)
I see a comment about the secret cave being beside Pingu in the Credits area and how ridiculous the ice cream thing is. I'm like "how hard could it be?". 15 minutes, thousands of swipes, and a sore arm later, and I finally get it. So I go to the hat store to put on my hard-earned Sombrero, only to find out that after all that, I still need to pay $2500 to get it. Successful troll is successful, I think. -_-
Maybe I'm the only one, but I'd really appreciate a way to turn off the pop-up boxes that keep showing up from the penguin. It's nice that the penguin has personality, but it gets annoying being distracted by the penguin telling me how he once "ate an entire pizza all by himself" for the thousandth time.
Maybe add some kind of item in the Hat Shop or Ping Mart that can toggle on and off the pop-up boxes, since there doesn't appear to be an option screen that I've seen.
Also, maybe add a button for deleting saved games, in case somebody wants to. It took a little while to locate the save at Users\*User*\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\GG2DSWMZ\chat.kongregate.com\gamez\0012\6674\live\pingy2.swf.
