Game needs a lot of polish: inventory still misrepresents, clicking mechanic should be replaced with Swords and Souls-style minigames, the interfaces are weirdly laid out, etc.
BUT, the ideas behind the game are golden. Really cool Pokemon feel. Combat is interesting. It's fun to experiment with different teams. It's fun finding the new mutations. Exploring to new cities is fun. It's rewarding.
Rated 3/5 originally for the sloppy interfaces and clicker mechanics - changed to 5/5 in hopes to see stuff in the future that are like this but more polished and have more interesting grinding.
I feel like the minigames are one of the many strengths of this game. Maybe as the game goes on, you can unlock harder and harder minigames to train your skills on? I'd love to see a sequel, maybe this feature would belong there.
Well, rogues only is surprisingly fun.
First skill? Hide.
First round? Hide.
Second round? Pick 4 things to deal 200% damage to :3
I'm sure the build is flawed as hell, but so far it's hilarious.
I think that if the Dev not putting a SELL BUILDING option in makes it simpler. With that in, yes us OCD gamers would be happy but for anyone that wants to play and win it would just distract and get in the way.
Really liked it! I'll be honest, never played anything like it, but it's very cool. However, I think it could use a lot of tuning as far as strategy goes. For nearly all the levels you can get easy wins just by terraforming everything and making yourself huge castles... it doesn't feel terribly challenging :/ Hope this gets fixed so that this can be as cool of a strategy as it is a concept. 4/5
Looks awful at first glance, but gets more fun as the levels go on. Simple concept, seen it done before, but still manages to be interesting for a little while.
You CAN kill the frigates.... one of the orange ones just stopped, then started exploding all over and then faded away.... those things must take a TON of punishment
Ooh, glitch. When you switch tabs, your battle sorta pauses, ie the enemy wont send any more robos or gain scrap, but robos can still move and you still gain scrap while youre in the other tab it seems.
In the sequel I'll surely find a way to make training more progressive.
