hahaha... just from looking at the little thumbnail of the game on the front page, I guessed that this was a nerdook game. Haven't played it yet, but I bet it's good :)
This is (and has been for awhile) one of my favorite games on kongregate, or really anywhere online. If I could make one suggestion, this would be it: show us warnings about incoming arty fire, planes, etc; in a different place than where descriptions of everything are shown. It's annoying being caught off guard by these things because you mouse over a button or enemy or something
Okay, I really love level 23, the solution amused me. The entire game I think is great also, this is a game that makes you think, instead of having a combination of luck and skill/reflexes. 5/5
~sighs~
I wish my necromancer could figure out he should use his 24th level fireball, rather than beating something with his club, and getting knocked senseless.
I just participated in a really funny game, which actually probably wouldn't have happened with a more advanced whatsit after people quit. 2 quit right in between the two turrets at the base, and the other two quit to the right side of the right turret. I was able to constantly kill the enemies as they came in and I /never/ died. Pretty far along in the game, all but two of them had quit. After they launched a simultaneous assult, and both died, I was able to take out the four first towers, kill them again, and then their main tower. Outnumbered 5:1 for most of the game, lol!
I have a fun little set-up to use for drawing fire. Have an engineer build a trench middle to top of the screen. Inside of it, place two medics and a soldier with a shotgun. This frees up the lower part of the screen to do just about whatever you want. This worked really well for me without the trench. Also, pretty obvious, but put 3+ gunners in a bunker, they unleash a can of serious whoop-ass.
Finally, this is a great game, and deserves badges/card! I loves this game. And also, if you don't like your chances with bunkers, at least spread your forces out, so they don't all get pasted. Or else, order air superiority.
Hmm... I judged it early. Once you get to some of the later campaigns, you run into some interesting features. I take back what I said, this is an improvement upon an already good game.
