Last Flake seemed incredibly OP. Like, really, of all the characters, she was totally unstoppable, easy. Angela seemed by far the weakest. No way to heal, and both her passives rely on incredibly slim chances of stuff happening. She just got gypped.
Ugh. Stupid bloody cave level. Absolutely dreadful. Only single one that i didn't platinum. There just aren't enough enemies to kill for a plat! >:( (Also - do bosses not give score at all? What up with that?0
Could you maybe, I don't know, add an actual "Library" such as the one mentioned, but that doesn't seem to actually exist? So people can see what all the abilities/stats/buffs do? That'd be nice.
I think my big problem with it is that the entire thing is more luck than anything else. Half the time it's impossible for me to do damage because it starts out without any blocks in position for it - then when I do something one option pops up, so the opponent takes it. It's crushingly obvious that winning has absolutely nothing to do with strategy, and just brute persistence.
For anyone who beat the game to 100% completion before badges were implemented:
Enter any level to get the first badge (although I had 3000+ infamy, so maybe you just need to do that again).
Complete any level to get the second and last badges.
Go to the Castle page to get the third badge.
It's sort of easy to get screwed over if you dont' fight a lot of mages at first, because suddenly mage-type enemies of high levels are dealing 4x more damage than every other enemy, and you can't build up a resistance to it fast enough.
Absolutely fantastic, though I'm not quite sure this computer or the "other A.I." are the ones you built in YFYIAR. EXADI can't be, because you just left it (nothing about drugs or ever coming back). It is possibly the "other A.I." but there's really no way to confirm that. More importantly, the game was surprisingly emotionally powerful. I loved that. The "I miss my dad" bit... absolutely fantastic.
The game was very good, though a friend brought up a very good point. Why is Anna still alive? And what exactly happened to her that knocked her unconscious for as long as 36 hours that can be treated by... a guy who has no idea what's wrong with her?
Totally glitched on me vs. the British on the bottom left Easy map. Two redcoats positioned themselves near a corner of the bridge and never moved. THey kept missing after destroying half my gear.
I liked the game at first. It was a cool idea and at first I thought it was executed well.
Until I learned my soldiers can't shoot for beans.
German soldiers walked right past my troops without taking a single shot, and that's just from soldiers that were actually shooting at them! my other soldiers were focusing on targets that were much further from my border. Anyone with half an arm could shoot someone at the range these people were missing.
Instead of having them lock on automatically and not allowing manual targeting, try ALLOWING MANUAL TARGETING! So that a player (who has far more intelligence than this piss-poor AI) can get his blind soldiers to at least TRY to fire on the right enemy soldier.
