The speed is OK, because when you get into larger battles it gives you some time to react. We had it about 3 times faster and then mistakes were really costly in terms of losing units.
I need my 8k gold back or my guild "The Dragon Cult" created.... wasted 8,000 and didn't get my guild... otherwise this game is epic!! lots of people should start playing.
