Cute game :) Seems to be a bug in getting the Shortcut Master medal on multiple replays after having completed level 2, and received each individual medal seperately (medal check isn't triggering?) The only way I'm going to get all 12 is by resetting, I think.
Played it twice and didn't get the achievement, then left it on the title screen for a while, went shopping and it'd been awarded when I got back. So there you go.
1-16 was indeed tricky (the idea of it is easy enough but you need to be facing at the correct angle) So, 145 confirmed. 2-16 also seems like it might be possible if hitting at the perfect angle, but no success here.
So far I have 1-2, 1-3, 1-6, 1-7, 1-8, 1-9, 1-10, 1-12, 1-13, 1-20, 2-1, 2-3, 2-4, 2-8, 2-9, 2-10, 2-11, 2-13, 2-17, 2-18, 2-19, 2-20. That's 142 stars. According to Ikelepte's list, 2-12 is also possible in less than 6, which means potentially 143.
Alot of the criticism here seems rather over harsh to me, and I don't think this game deserves it. Exploring the limits of each evolution seems a natural concept - judging if a pixel is genuinely out of reach or just within reach in your current form. Also without any time pressure, the pixel positioning is not as challenging as a large proportion of platform games. This is an interesting and innovative game in the more thoughtful mould (which I'm always pleased to see) The implementation is good, and serves its purpose.
Well that came out garbled. Also, this game has performance issues on my Core i5 on later levels. The screen freezes for seconds, and then when it unfreezes the level is over, or I'm dead. If only there were some way to lower the quality.
Wow, badges that can be bought with kreds. I think the consensus is this was a really bad idea. Or at least extremely cynical. If you can't stop players from cheating, lets make it easy for them by allowing them to pay to cheat, with a small donation of course...
I'm enjoying the game, nice visuals, controls take some getting used to, but a fair difficulty ramp, with some surprises along the way (if you're patient enough to give it a proper trial) Use the save feature before starting levels, incase you have trouble. None of the levels were long enough that going back to the start was an issue for me. 5/5
"Shortcut master" is a speedrun that needs to use the 3 secret zones to go faster ;) (complete level 2 under 80 seconds)
