I enjoyed this game for awhile, but the amount of grind between finding the steel door and cracking the steel door got to be a bit much. Not enough changes for me to enjoy sitting here forever hitting the retry button until I have the cash to break the steel door I've been hitting at full speed for over an hour.
The boss is quite the opposite of entertaining. While it is obviously possible to beat the game, the squid is so far out of line with every other enemy in the lineup that it seems like the developer just dropped the ball on that one. Fun game otherwise.
Fun game, 4 stars. I enjoyed the different power ups. Only complaint: I never got to see a gummie holding a chili pepper. Even after I had beaten the game and went back to purchase the third chili pepper upgrade in the shop, never saw one.
Had a lot of fun with this on its first release, but thought it was too easy in parts. Less fun now, and many cities seem much harder to the point of being less puzzle and more 'grind coins until you can afford teh ultimate uber zombiezz'. The freezing glitch gradually becomes less of a minor annoyance and more of a 'why am I still doing this after every level'? Rating changed from 5 to 3, and I feel 3 is generous.
Was fun for the first five levels or so. Everything after that I got three stars on with only a single try. Too easy, and just like the game its a sequel to.
You know its too easy when someone like me can beat it in two days. (If you were looking to improve it, a good first step would to make it take much longer to repair the balloon. It was over so fast all I had was the assault rifle and three traps. Fort was unnecessary, most traps were, most guns were. Lots of content that didnt need to be touched to beat the game.)
5/5 for sheer fun in play. However, either my build was overpowered or the game just kept getting easier and easier. Not asking you to turn it into the ninja gaiden of flash games, but you might up the difficulty.
Same problem as HpyoSam. Once my gems exceed ten, they just randomly disappear. Pretty big glitch, considering the number of things that require more than ten gems
