To select multiple blocks, they must be adjacent to one another and (on the PC at least), you click and drag through each tile to highlight them. Then click again to move the highlighted tiles. This two click (select/move) option for more than one tile is smooth, but feels clunky if you just want to move a single tile. I don't want to click and the click again to move it. I just want to drag it on the first click. Other than that, smooth gameplay, instructions were straight forward and game difficulty didn't really ramp up but it is hard to judge as the harder levels are locked behind a phone app. I'd suggest you go the way of Kingdom Rush - put the majority of your game online for play and don't completely hide away that many visible levels in your app. I downloaded KR because it was amazing online and the app only added to that experience.
Love the game and have played it for years. The only issue I have is that there will sometimes have a display error (like this: http://i.imgur.com/aAGcPdM.png). The blocks around it do not clear out correctly and the flashing display square cannot be cleared either. Refreshing the game also does not work; cookies must be cleared completely.
Difficult to distinguish the i's from the l's (for words like toil/toll) and I wish there was an option to zoom or make the text a bit bigger to it's legible. Have taken to forcing the browser to enlarge the entire page to play the game. Other than this, the ramping up difficulty is perfect and I enjoy the number challenges that were added to this sequel.
It's a pretty simple game but I like the sand-castle building of your own at the end (especially being able to lay siege to your own construction as well).
Cute game; I like that I can get all of the in-game achievements after watching the king lift off (do so by "continuing game" after the cut scene). Wish it was a bit longer though.
@milddestruction: I was having that problem earlier; the game will lag up badly if you let it run for a while. However, it does save your progress and the lag clears up after you load the game again.
Finally closing the game at the year 2100. Had so many extra hamburgers that the meat started going bad in the fridges of the fast food area. Cut back to 2 soy fields and 3 pastures (1 cow each, staggered so they would be ready at different times in the year). No growth hormones, unnecessary additions, etc. To combat the obese, had nutritionist and food pyramid on full time. Alternated between the others depending on what group got angry at that particular time.
As others have already stated... PLEASE ADD OPTION TO TURN OFF THE MUSIC. One of my favorite things to do to concentrate and appease my A.D.D. is watch videos, blast music (of my choosing), play flash games and write essays; I like the game but I'd like it more if I could fit it in to my routine. =/
Fun game! Just thrilling little obstacle dodger... I think it'd be more fun if it was full screen (not sure if it's possible with kongregate host though).
I like the game... just a few tweaks I would suggest, namely, if the opponent goes to 0 (or less) due to the stacks of taint on them, the taint doesn't kill them and is erased all together. It's a bit confusing and annoying, especially when they might play a high hp card their next turn when they should have been dead.
May have gone in the wrong order and my animals maxed out very quickly; the enemies were so low that I got very little money after the third castle and could no longer buy the chest upgrades. Confusing... also, make the tutorial SHORTER, I don't like the textbook at the beginning. Integrate it into gameplay.
Several of the challenges were quite difficult; having had to horde the cirplosions in normal mode, it was hard to just use one to start a motion rather than destroy a ball. Simple game, great design. :)
