The EU is basically a governing body which forces legislation onto anyone living in a country which is part of the EU. A common voter can: Travel to Belgium to protest a ruling. A common voter cannot: VOTE FOR OR AGAINST WHAT HAPPENS IN THE EU, OR VOTE FOR WHO SHOULD REPRESENT THEM IN THE EU. Democracy is dead, folks. Wake up.
