This is a darn good game. My only suggestions would be:
a) As others have said, allow key reconfiguration, and/or single button special attacks for convenience.
b) Make the difficulty ramp on 'The Fool' a bit more consistent; I found the first bundle of levels easy, but then hit a few brick walls that I was forced to constantly retry or even grind to pass.
c) Either simplify the SP system, offer a tutorial for it, and/or just add more levels so there's more time to explore it fully.
Regardless, this is an easy 5/5. Keep up the awesome work.
Skythekid, that's the whole point of the final chance; you have to predict where the ball will be with half the screen obscured; similarly to how in Ultimate Avoidance taking a hit reduces the visible screen to a sort of flashlight around you.
Great game; just a couple of issues. Firstly, although the CPU-particularly allies- is far better than Raze 2, it can still be annoying; enemies and allies often walk back and forth even on CTF and Domination maps for no real reason, and secondly, the level guide seems a tad off in places; I beat the last Challenge mission as a level 27 Assassin, for instance. Still brilliant though, and can't wait for Raze 3.
@spider...Tired Old Man seems to be generally considered the toughest outside of the special songs (inside of which is most certainly Guitar vs Piano), although Presumed Dead is one beast of a challenge too. Still, I suppose it depends on how you play :3 (e.g. my play style makes Stormfield a bummer)
Great game. I'm struggling to get the Wizard 'chievo, though- the only song with enough notes appears to be I Just Wanna Burn on Pro, but although I know mistakes don't count on boss mode, I just can't hit all of the notes in the finger-aching section. Ah well, I'll keep trying =D. 5/5, anyway.
WARGH THIS IS TOO DIFFICULT!!!!!!
Barely finished Original, Insane's already racking up mass deaths...ARGH
Impossible badge looks easier than most, still.
Good game for what it is.
WOOT, did well on this :D. Got top score for today on kong, 2nd for weekly on kong and 1st weekly for AG on Blind (174). Got top for today (unless someone beats it soon) in Hide'n'ride.
Weird. Did the level immediately after posting
Tip: I lured the zombies to barrels. Both the mac. gun and shotgun are too weak to beat piles by themselves, and there's no fuel I can see for the car, making it your only option.
Wow, after loads of tries, can't even break level 4, regardless of how i play it- i can get far in it, but so far I haven't done it (probably will end up finishing it sometime). But seriously, that completely misses the point of intro difficulty- even 'hardcore' games usually have some sort of entry point. This is hard almost from the word go. Still, fun to play.
Wow, lol. A) Wtf is up with the song. B) Wtf is up with the 'parody' theme, this is just a weird game where you shoot faces with a sword (lol?) C) The goblins are Zanik. You H.A.M member, you!
Good game from what I've seen so far, using the good old run'n'gun genre with a couple of twists and a generally more agile character (from what I've played, most gunner heroes can't somersault over an enemy whilst continuously shooting at them- though this is a robot, after all). Good example of a good genre.
Originally had a problem with the first two badges as I did them before badges were released. Thankfully, I got the shank crafting badge when i crafted another shank (not hard to do), and the peeping tom badge once I stepped into a 'dangerous' zone (with enemies). Just in case any1 else gets the same problems. It may also have just been achievment lag, but want to make sure a record of some kind is posted of it. Also, weirdly, pressing diagonal keys opposite of the way the character is facing (e.g: when facing right, down+left) causes moonwalking :D
316 deaths...the 'This Isn't' tallied up most of them. That was a REALLY hard part. Other than a few other annoying jump sections, I got through the game without too much hassle :D.
thanks! there's now a azerty option and arrowkeys. unfortunately, the mouse is needed still for later skills.
