I love the game its got the addictiveness that drives you to play again, the upgrades are fun and there's variety in enemies and that's great. From here you could maybe go the root of Rogue Legacy where after each play-trough you get a little bit of gold or some sort of currency, possibly it drops from enemies, then you could have some sort of shop system, this would exponentially get the player to the higher up levels , where there could be even more different enemies. I'd say the enemy that is the same size as the bigger red cube but with numbers in it, I expected it to split up in 4 smaller cubes it wasnt clear enough for me that its a completely different enemy, I got the feeling that its just the same enemy but with armor.
I liked the game, at first when I heard the sound thought that the walls are slowly squeezing together, then I thought the lava block killed me, but after playing it a bit I think its the smoke monster from Lost being invisible. ^^
I really got the feeling of being some sort of Indiana Jones, I'd say from here you could add some sort of variety of traps that the player would have to avoid and study, something like the floor opening up to lava.
I'd say I didn't quite like dieing from nothing there could be some sort of visualization to the enemy or whats killing you, so you could possibly avoid it, then you could add some sort of penalty for dying as it stands, the game would be unfair if there was a penalty.
All in all love the concept, love the ambiance, enjoyed the game a lot :)
Thank you :) adding traps sounds like an awesome idea, I haven't thought about it..:) ok, so it seems I need to make the concept a little more clear as lava blocks are following player when he is not looking and the send him back to start when they touch the player...I will try to modify it a little bit then in the next version :) as earlier I was only told that sound effect would be enough but I start to see that it isn't..
