Soul crushingly laggy. The screen never keeps up with the character; I actually phase though most obstacles and die at the end of a level because he slipped out of boundaries. No similar issue with any Flash games. Can't even get the Easy badge to complete a quest.

Seconding that this is a bit of a downgrade. The issue with the endless explosions and screen objects haven't been addressed, yet this feels somehow grindier than the last - finished the first level with much more time investment and less upgrades than the last. Said upgrades are absolutely needed if you want to last a bit into Survival mode, given that you can't really process what's happening most of the time, so the only way is to muscle your way through.

It appears my old comment got deleted. I'll gladly repeat it. This game is condensed stupidity and I wish I could personally punch everyone involved in making it.

For a game that requires such precise jumping I'd sure expect a better jumping engine.

If you've felt utterly overwhelmed when entering Insane Mode, don't lose heart, it gets easier. I've found the spider to be, by far, the hardest boss among the new ones, given the equipment you have available at the time, the quickness of its shots and its regenerative ability. After that, the equipment starts gradually putting you on a more even ground with the following bosses.

BUT WHAT ABOUT THE FIVE SECOND RULE?

I hate this game so fugging much.

You can select your own controls. Anyone who's ever played Megaman X on an emulator will have a hell of an easier time using the shoot/jump/dash combination.
