Once you have captured a square, does the terrain have an bearing on what you build on it? (mountains, forest, etc) I know that river terrain only accepts certain buildings, I'm referring to bonuses, cost, etc of the building you place on each spot.
Clues are too subtle, and the screen is much too small. I found it difficult to enjoy. These types of games need to be about cleverness, never pixel-hunting.
You can just use nothing but Davids for the entire adventure, and maybe a few Tecumseh for the invisible mobs. If it weren't for invis mobs, you never need to build anything but David towers, and max their damage. I never bought any of the more expensive ones. Their abilities do not warrant the increased cost.
This game looks like it has some great potential, but I also found it very confusing.
1. Is there any way to rest/recover health between fights?
2. I hired a cleric but he seems to have no spells at all?
3. Is there any way to make the map bigger than just that one corner?
4. Is there a way to equip stuff or is it auto used in combat?
Fun game, but too short. Not just for content, but you end up with lots of unused, un-raised abilities. You also might want to look into balancing some of the powers more in that some are super useful and some are not worth it when you consider other abilities. Well done and looking forward to the sequel.
