Still love the game (I have played enough that I regularly get in the top 15 for the week), but I have to say it is frustrating when you lose your bonus because you get a gate, jump, gate, gate, jump, and nothing to keep your streak going.
I think a bit more instruction is needed. Sometimes I am wondering what certain upgrades do, or my guy fires horribly innacurate (literally all over the scree, this started right after I got a turret). Still, visually a nice game.
I am not sure why getting all the easy levels give a medium badge. Even getting all the achievements on them was fairly easy. But who cares, and here is why:
This is a very simple, yet elegantly fun game to play. It is also usually quick to succeed or fail so great to play at work between tasks. I do wish the game had an outright "restart" function and a mute option (no game should NOT have this), but these short-comings are forgivable. I also wish the creator was a bit more professional when he comments, but his creation is not marred because he is rude.
If anyone is a fan of fast-paced, tension-filled games, then try this one out.
Lol I love how my last comment was an honest critique, and not "game sux", and it got -15 in under an hour.
Thought I should add that the game is very easy compared to a lot of other puzzle games on the site here. Also, I am glad there is an option to turn the music off as it gets annoying fast; some games do NOT have the option and it drives me nuts.
The game has a nice tutorial that plays as you move through the game, so you can start playing right away, yet it has an option to skip it every time. Perfect user-interface.
I still find the physics too odd and almost cartoonish in concept, but apparently that is just me. Hopefully the game gets tougher as I play through the levels.
The first tutorial level turned me off; a fan producing enough turbulence to power a generator that is a ways off? Sorry, I just find it a bit of a stretch, even in the confines of a game, as the game is based off logic and physics.
With the cursor on the cue ball full to the left and taking a straight shot off the bank, the ball merely returns straight backwards, contrary to the way it would in real life.
Friendly fire is still enabled, melee weapons should NOT replace ranged weapons, and there should be an indication on your screen of what street each screen in that area is.
