It was very fun for a little while, but by the time the end of the game rolls around there is absolutely no challenge. When both the ranger and the mage do 10 dmg x 2 (20) per turn with the addition of another 10 every three turns (knight and king) and max sight ranges, nothing in the game that can withstand an attack, except the boss. You can dish out 60 between the two at any target you see. This is not counting the priestess and her smite ability at all! The boss even at 150 extremely simple. I would advise to create more difficult "puzzles" of the strategy required for groups of enemies and maybe making it more difficult to deal such large ammounts of damage so early on in the game without *really* increasing the difficulty. The artwork was nice and pleasant to the eyes and the sounds and horrible puns were pleasing as well. With a couple of changes, I believe that this could be a top favorited dungeon crawler. I hope to see the third addition improved and hopefully soonish.
I completely enjoyed this game. The puzzels were nice. Though I would like to mention that the world 5 music (if it isn't randomized from world to world) sounded similar to a piece of the Clocks song by Coldplay. It was kinda neat too. I would really enjoy another Refraction game and I feel asured many others do as well.
