The collision problem is that getting hit by a slime should not knock you back as if you're on ice. Make the collision speed variable go down over time, so you slide back quickly at first but slow down

If you're stuck on ascend, just jump over the gems to the right, and keep moving right.

Its super easy if you set all of your troops to defend, but sneak one fully powered swordsman around the troops and kill all of their miners in the beginning of the game :D
