It saves automatically, but you can also export a savegame in the options menu to the bottom right. There you can also import those save files. You can even take those save files with you to wherever and continue playing there! They should also work between different browsers, with internet explorer as an exception because we're saving the game differently on there. I suggest exporting the save regularly (before you close the game for example), because some users have problems with their cache for the site being cleared randomly, which may delete the savegame (I can't really do anything about that on my end).
Great game! One recommendation I have is to allow players to upgrade skills to reduce the cool down.
10 minutes and 30 minutes is far too long to be waiting for an active skill in an idle game.
This game is slow, lacks creative outlets, and is your typical grind-to-win RPG. Levels are repetitive without variability. The help section is inexistent, which wouldn't be a problem if there weren't so many game mechanics that confused me (e.g. paragon levels, which dominion trumps which, what higher level runes are for, etc. etc.).
The companions you find have very low level caps that can easily be reached within 15 minutes of gameplay, which makes for a very unexciting play through.
Last but not least, there is no outlet for expending excess money. I have over 5 million gold accumulated from grinding each subchapter to get 5 stars, and I have no way of spending it since all the equipment upgrades require additional resources other than gold.
Overall, while the graphics are decent, the speed and mechanics of the game render the aesthetic qualities of this game to be moot. I do not recommend this game.
If you want to be a powerhouse that 1-hit KOs enemies, switch to the fire dominion and throw all your skill points into the dual form ability (unlocked at level 25) to increase your strength. From there, you'll be decimating enemies regardless of whether or not your dominion lines up correctly, and thus overstepping any need for strategy whatsoever. When you level up more to level 35, invest your skill points into the ability that momentum form, which increases your dexterity, allowing you to tank with your multiple target skill you learned earlier. With these combinations of skills, you'll be unstoppable. Save 83 gems for a level 55 companion in the shop that hits all enemies, and you'll be untouchable.
Every time I enter into a battle, I can fire off a few skills, and then the game becomes unresponsive to my clicks. The game proceeds normally, but the clicks are super delayed, and the pause button doesn't work either.
This game is problematic for me while loading. It is often stuck at 0% at the primary loading screen, and often gets stuck loading between battles, both forcing me to refresh the browser.
The whole point of having multiple decks is to be able to use different strategies. Therefore, we should be able to add cards from other decks, and cards shouldn't have to be restricted to only being in one deck. Eg., if I have only two copies of one card, I should be able to add two copies to each deck that I decide to build.
