hello, if you will get how to play fast enough, learn guidlines from forum and wiki, then around 4-6 weeks. if you want to have fun, then few months :)
I feel like the evolution/Ascension would be much more exciting with some sort of animation, like the disaster area on the side zooming out to encompass the new playing area. then a option to turn off the animations would make it so that players who were just trying to zoom past on their way to a higher species wouldn't have to wait for the animation.
