Bit by a nasty bug, after last journey reset, it shows I have all the pets, houses and gear bought, but I have none of the bonuses, meaning I can not hire more than 1 party member. Seeing as how you have to finish the grail quest to do another journey restart, I am basically stuck slow gaining my way back....
Power p/s is an average. The last 2 powers have a longer tick time and give large amounts of power when they go off. Hence the averaged power p/s. It wouldn't be accurate if you saw that much power every single second.
FINALLY!.. for the first time since I started playing this game week of launch, I have managed to get ALL achieves before an update knocked them away again.
I am sure this has been mentioned already but there seems to be an issue with money tracking. I currently have 140 nonillion but as far as angelic investors are concerned I have only earned 67 nonillion. Given I have most
business at 400 to 500 I have spent a ton as well. WAY off.
So here it is. Let's see. We have the most popular RPG ever released, 10 million plus subscribers who pay $156 a year minimum, Most of whom have paid full price for each game released of which there are 5 now. We make near on to 2 billion a year on this 1 game. Have 0 real competitors right now. Let's see. Hey some one made a flash game that is more homage then anything else. Actually gives us free advertisement. Makes no money, is absolutely no threat at all to our sub base. What should we do? Hey he uses some of our icons...... DESTROY HIM. Oh and let's kick a few puppies and kittens on the way to our cadre of lawyers to do this. I played WoW for 5 years, This makes me sick they do crap like this.
I see now there are offhand weapons that don't require dual wield talent, as well as 2 handed weapons that don't need the talent, Only it is odd using agility on an offhand and the 2 handed weapons don't seem to add enough to be worth using. I am hoping it will change but right now it seems using agility at least on the off hand offers a better bang for your stats then pure strength due to how much time it shaves off of the swing timer. I was not able to kill Van Cleef no matter then set up with agility. In fact right now...... BOWS are the best stat pay out for my low level DK.... I do seriously hope that changes. It is SO odd.
at low levels, the talent weights do not play as much of a roll, so really the MOST agi+str you can get will be the best weapon setup for you. Once you have more talent points their power adds up more. As a DK, a greatsword becomes a clear best choice, even an inferior one. Even at low levels though, if they are equal quality and level, greatsword is at least as good as bow for DK, and likely better depending on talents.
Spend 1/4 of the game getting all the upgrades and to the last ship. Then spend the remaining 3/4 of the game trying to hit the damned captain. Seriously hard to do.
I really want to like this game, however I am sick of being destroyed from behind cause wizards can cast from 100 feet away, have a spell that homes in on you AND ignores armor. That way when confronted with 10 assassins you get to choose to either die from having your spine ripped out OR nuked to death from further than your screen allows, Tone down wizards or give us some type of magic resistance.
Upon the second time failing a mission cause an enemy spawns invincible, it is time to give the game a 1 and move on. Is it really so hard to fix bugs?
I see a lot of complaints against blocking enemies but no one has advised as to how to deal with it. First if the blocking was reduced the skill tree would be mostly useless since it seriously lacks offensive power. Also having a Murmillo on your team using protect makes it a lot easier to fight enemies 10 levels higher then you which is what is going to happen in Rome. I was level 46 and my opponents 60 in the last few battles. So the blocking is fine. How you handle a murmillo is easy. You have 2 choices. You can either use a provocatores and intimidate all his MP away OR you can make sure you are faster than he is and disable his SHIELD arm. You can't block without a shield.
This game was fine right up till the piercing nonsense added to the extra battles. It makes using the proper elemental match ups not only pointless but impossible. When an enemy can kill your level 70 monster using an attack that are SUPPOSED to be null damage to. Adding in items so that you can refill your AP and essentially never let the enemy go was a bad idea to late game balancing.
You REALLY need to tone down the second to last level. The damage there is nuts. I blazed through every level till. You have so much crap going on, on the screen it slows me down. I don't see a quality button either. In addition. I have used nearly every combo of armor, guns, mods or damage boosting I can think of and I have lost 5 times more on this level then all the others combined.
Thunderclap. A 4 round un-resistable stun with no CD...... Yeah balanced... Only saving grace is between my Defensive ability and armor I am virtually immune to damage. Still. Spending 20 mins in a fight just waiting for the 1 round he doesn't Thunderclap is miserable.
Bouncing off of enemies/targets is extremely unforgiving. As a result level 17 is maddeningly frustrating compared to the rest of the game. Having to press three buttons to do it is bad enough however it doesn't react the same every time. Some times I can bounce extremely high other times nearly no lift at all. Please revisit this game mechanic. I have been dreading the level where it became a necessity.
I can appreciate you want the last stage to be hard. However do you think that maybe giving the player at least a 1 second immunity upon spawn might be a good idea? I get shot off once and then I am blasted off 2 more times in a row cause the boss camps my spawn point.
Game needs multiple save slots....... Wave 44 all achieves unlocked except "Luring Nautilus". Go to reset wave to get said achieve and wipe my save completely.... Looks like I wont be finishing this game now...
Do they even play the game before they make badges for it..... Yet another hard badge that is disproportionately so. I have lost on 28 29 and 30 a few times now The one time I used space while flag capturing made it too easy. I beat wave 40 which is the end wave and the game crashed when I was turning in my score.
