It's a very nice concept, but as mentioned by others, progress gets very slow fast... Yes, legendary reset doubles speed per upgrade, but the distance required also doubles. The prestige upgrades are also sort of weird, I bought 2 autoclicks after first prestige, which seems to be enough to keep stamina up to 100%, making the next 3 upgrades pointless. After 2-3 prestiges the only way of getting decent xp is quests, so the autoclick chest upgrades aren't really worth it eighter. Visually very nice, just some numbers need reworking :)
Nice idea, some flaws that are already mentioned here, like the scrolling and the non-functioning warehouse. I just wanted to add that the combat is pretty annoying: after reset you have to spam a lot of attacks for being trivial in cost, and you have to click a lot to pick up the loot, which is completely useless most of the time (picking up 12k food while i'm producing nearly 1 mil a second) The incremental cost also means there's very little motivation to do any combat until you can just beat the mosquito 45 times, any time before that is wasted clicking and time.
After restarting my game bugged, I have no money machine, just an empty field, and prices haven't reset... Am I the only one who has this problem? Happened twice now, but I thought first time was due to patches or something, had to restart from the beginning.
Some kind of tech tree, or more hints on what research branch unlocks what would be nice. I got buildings requiring silicon and plastic to build, but no way to make em, and now i'm just grabbing random research as it (slowly) becomes available, in the hopes of finding the right tech...
I also want to add, needing to unlock all the parasites again and not being able to remove nests, I like it. It forces the player to strategize, otherwise it would just be "spam the best parasite".
I don't mind the pace of the game itself, it picks up rather fast, but losing the calcium upgrades on reset is kinda annoying... This just slows the game down extremely, without bringing an extra challenge or aspect to the game.
Couple more thoughts: in the mil/bil challenge, i'd love to see a timer estimating how long it would take to reach the target at current gps. This would make it a lot easier to experiment with different upgrade paths. For the endless run, maybe change the 'best time' statistic to 'most earned'?
Only found shard skill menu after a couple of runs, by accident. Should be clearer (top left in the mode selection screen btw)
Rest of the game is nice... The time challenges are refreshing, the synergies between buildings is nice and diverse, graphics are not too little, not too much... I do hope for some more content, cause i'm getting bored of the shorter runs, and the endless run slows down way too fast.
Still have to check out most new features, but my first impression is not good. Kudos on the daring overhaul, but the graphics are completely unnecessary i think. They make my game lag, and i can't turn them off? The new icons for everything are confusing, and the colours could be a lot brighter. I was also hoping for a bigger screen, but instead the font just got smaller... All this isn't optimal, i hope there will be some more patches to adress these things, and seeing the other comments here, i'm not the only one.
Pretty nice! Need cinematic view to see everything (and even then it's quite small), but otherwise nice interface... I'd like to see the game unfold more though, instead of being able to do everything from the start.
I'd also like to get something from fighting that boosts the other fields, like a mining speed bonus, or even a multiplier on crafting. Right now fighting only boosts itself.
But nice job overall! :)
Some bugs present... Third distribution building won't unlock, and my beer seems to be capped? or at least rounded to nearest 10 million, when i click the beer button, the number changes for a fraction of a second than jumps back to nearest 10 mil. It does occasionally increase, maybe it's a rounding error somewhere. I'd also suggest placing the beer and sell button next to each other, that'll prevent the 'buy stuff' menu from jumping up and down when you shrink the button upon click :)
Thanks for advice :)
The button issue should be fixed by now. I have casted a shadow on it, so it seems better than before and the menu will not jump around.
Very nice, would love to see a longer version :) as other commenters have mentioned, more rpg stuff would be awesome... Stuff like equipment, maybe a house with upgradeable parts to train stats in (aisle, paint equipment, art book shelves,...) Maybe add in competitions to gain money? An art gallery to sell finished artwork? Just some ideas from the top of my head :)
Not bad for a first try, couple things though:
-only the 2 first dps seem to do anything, the others don't increase my downloads per sec
-balance is way off, manual clicking far outearns the auto
Really needs more content, more things to buy, upgrade menu, maybe even some prestige system... Keep going! :)
@Sylvan Thanks for checking it out. Yeah I need to balance the game such that it doesn't matter when you join the game so you can start right away. Right now you need 2 players to start the game.
I'm looking now into the restart issue, sorry fr the bug
