Easy way to get both achievements:
1) run big circles to collect snow (space), don't kill yetis
2) build 20-30 turrets in a circle around you and just wait
Responding to my own comment about trial 2:
The issue was that I started trial 2 before trial 1. Therefore even after finishing trial 1 I didn't get its bonus for trial 2 until I ended and started it again.
Was all fun until Trial 2. It's either bugged or I'm doing something fundamentally wrong. As far as I understand, manual petting should be the way to go but even when mostly buying upgrades for petting it would take days to finish it. (+petting feels super clunky)
Hey there, in Trial 2 you should upgrade your Cats as much as you can and pray they actually produce Karma (1% chance of that happening). Especially speed upgrades are the way to go. You should manually pet only to get some levels (optimally, go for 999 for good milestone effects). I hope this helps :)

It's recommended to do the Trials in order, but it's not mentioned in-game. I'll make sure to add this in the future :)
