By the way, is nobody gonna coment on how awesome the story of this game is? A human general, suddenly tasked with leading a small and frail 'army' of peasants against zombie-like enemies controlled by the shadows; He earns his spot, small victory after small victory, ridding the lands of corrupt kings, and eventually meeting with armies of elves and orcs, and unite them to fight the shadow enemies. Eventually they fight alongside the heavens to unchain titanic angels, go to the darkest, deepest forests to rediscover ancient high magic, and dive into volcanoes to seek flaming beasts, and with all that power they march against the king of hell itself.
It's... beautiful
The one piece of criticism I have for this is that, by the time you get the really cool units, they're not really that useful anymore. you get the fire dragon one level before the last boss (and said dragon sucks against that boss), you get the devil unit after you beat the game, and by the time you get the arch angel, you already have every single titan unit, which are better. Maybe if the game's being revitalized, make these units unlockable by some other means, cause right now it really feels like you don't get to play with them.
Man I am sad; the MC and MA were so real about people's thinkings and feelings, and this ones seemed to be so fake... How the hell could a great cop and so objective hear a spirit's hate to find out the culprit? Or worse; Why didn't anyone notice that March's friend only thought about money and came to help a friend? Or even the empty chair? Why the hell could an angry wife don't blame the girl but hate the man she loved? Man, the other ones were so well done, why to make a great confusion on this one... And I say that because I really loved the MC and MA series; really, you created two great series, and I really hope you do a greater job, even in the case you keep going at this one. But in my opinion, you should do less work to do better the little you are the best in(seriously, I haven't seen great games like the MC and MA in my whole life). Sucess, bro!
I like how i start with some casual people and a girl i met on the beach. Moving on, powerful mages and even kings can work for me.
