More difficult than Glean 1, considering the average item drop amounts compared to the crafting requirements. The addition of flora and fauna manage to give the worlds more character. I preferred Glean 1's crafting system. Trying to experiment and see which recipes worked was more frustrating than fun. On the other hand, the tree-like crafting of needed subcomponents would've been greatly appreciated in the first game. As far as hazards go, most were fairly enjoyable to handle, especially the centipedes. Therazene gas is the perfect counterpart to Amaranthine and Vespene. The LEAST enjoyable obstacle were the bug/mines. I was fairly disappointed they dropped nothing, and automatically hurt you even if you use dynamite on them! To top it off they blend into nearly every background.
In conclusion Glean 2 is a good game. It expands on some aspects of Glean 1, although it falls short in other areas. In the end it provides more of the same, which is good because Glean 1 was a great game.
The game glitched for me, the enemies froze in place, but i could still shoot, upgrade, shop, move and repair. I think it was sprite overload. I was using Firefox 8.0 and Adobe Flash 11,0,1,152.
