Pretty awesome sequel!
I've played The King's League years ago and during work (while it was quite boring) I just noticed that TKL: Odyssey exists... finished it right the next day.
TKL:Odyssey is quite challenging, even on normal mode and took me 3 Years to beat the king (shame on me!). Will definitely start over in hard mode.
You guys did an awesome job and I hope to see another sequel one day... PC or mobile, I don't care, just gotta be TKL.
Thanks for all the fun I had during these 3 Years of conquering the kingdom!
Please, guys, the German translation isn't right for a game like this. The German commands/texts are not made for gaming, serious! 3/5 - nice game basics, but you need to add more upgrades and well.. this game has hearly NO ACTION. It bored me really fast.
There's a small but serious bug. If all of your first-line walls are destroyed, you are still able to build mages (4-line). Their tiles cannot be consumed and if you cannot match any other tiles on the field, you will be unable to interact.
Even easier than doomdeath's version: 3rd try -> 617 seconds || try to keep one bigger meteor in the air. if no other meteors appear, the giant one will follow AFTER the bigger one disappeared... keep this bigger meteor up as long as you can and THEN do the same to the giant meteor - just keep calm :))
Just build and upgrade as many lasers as possible - whole thing in "^"-shape. 4 magnet modules (upgraded!) should be enough.. 2-4 rockets (upgraded!) are good for ships you don't see (cuz you're busy watching your neighbour dressing up) .... While playing just place your ship in the middle of the field and click on your upper gun - the top of your " ^ " >> LASERS WILL SPREAD AND KILL EVERYTHING - NO MOVING NEEDED! :))
Simple graphics. First try with 13.000 points - got bored and stopped playing.
The idea is nice, but the game needs some features (actions; power-ups, etc) not to get that boring after a short time.
The sounds are nice and I really like the game's idea - but I think you need to come up with some more features to make this game popular.
I'm pending between 2/5 and 3/5 - but I'll give you a 3/5 ..
In my opinion (!!) this one was one of the worst versions Johnny made.
There were about 3 or 4 levels which took a second or third try - because of timing or the "falling rocks". At all this Roly Poly version was very boring and not challenging.
Graphics.. well.. I don't like them that much. At all: the same as always, just with other graphics, but this time NOT really challenging or anything. 2/5 - sorry, Johnny.
Very great game!!!
Remebers me of "Crush the Castle" - how the necks break and the guys die.. just modern and BLOODY :)
"R" for Reset would be nice, but it's no mustbe.. I like it 5/5!
Sonar009, your tip for level 14 sounds quite good.
Well, I filled up the spots (especially the high-floor ones) with crypts - Ninja Boss froze and my 4 Ballista Towers (upgraded Den Towers) around hit it while it was frozen. My meteor (shift-click) on the boss did the last part.
Upgrades needed for this tactical strike: Mind Control (Max), Mana Pool (Max), Ice Mastery (Max), Meteor Study (Max), Meteor Mastery (Max)
As you can see, these upgrades don't need a really high level to be maxed.
Some luck and you beat the ninja easily. Worked on my 1st try with this method.
Another great hint:
The Den Towers and the Temples don't have a "charge" time to hit, so when you upgrade your tower, it directly shoots.
Knowing about this.. when you have some sort of hard enemy in front of your upgradeable BURNING TEMPLE or BALLISTA DEN upgrade it directly after it shot the enemy.
These towers will directly shoot another time when they got upgraded, so you can hit twice with a burning temple for example when some knight bothers you.
I'm having trouble with level 14 brilliant ... does someone know a guide with the best way to beat this level perfectly?

If you have trouble with assassins, try building some crypts -> fear towers. The more you have the higher is the chance to hit (which means that the "run back" chance is higher). Don't make 1-2 high ones, make 5-6 smaller ones.
A great hint: Set skill points on "blue" until you can upgrade your crypts with 'freeze' bonus.
This a great way to beat those and even ninjas - but some luck must be on your side.

Another hint:
When your towers fail to hit an assassin, don't use meteor! The chance of hitting is also 50%, so better try Frenzy. This helps most and gives higher freeze/fear chance.
